What is Get Stronger?

A plain explanation of what Get Stronger does, what it does not do, and how it fits with the rest of KinectedCare.

The short version

• A simple figure shows each movement.
• They count what they did and save it.
• They see “Nicely done.” and their last seven days.
• Nothing is measured: no camera, no motion sensors.
• Sharing is their choice, and off until they say yes.

What it is

Get Stronger is part of KinectedCare for the person you care for. It is a general-wellness movement practice: a few gentle movements, at their own pace. It opens from a card on their CareLog, and it works on the phone. It is not on the watch.

How it works

1. Follow along. A simple animated figure shows a movement and its name. They swipe or use the arrows to move to the next. The order is shuffled each day, so it stays fresh.
2. Count what you did. A one-tap stepper opens on their last count. They save it, and see “Nicely done.” and how many they have done so far today.
3. See the last seven days. A simple picture of the days they practiced, on their own phone.

There is no fixed session. No set number of movements, no timer, no plan, no target. They do what they choose.

The 14 movements

Overhead arm raise, sit to stand, side-to-side weight shift, mini-squat, calf raise, sideways leg lift, backward leg lift, wall push-up, biceps curl, one-leg stand, step-up, side step in place, cross step in place and heel-to-toe stand.

What it does not do

• It does not measure anything. It does not use the camera or motion sensors, and it does not check form. The count is what they say they did.
• It does not read anything from Apple Health or Google Health.
• It does not replace medical advice. It is for educational use.
• It does not show rankings or comparisons.

Privacy and sharing

Their practice stays on their phone. If they choose to, they can share it with the people in their CareView, and they can turn sharing off at any time, which deletes what they shared. Sharing is off until they say yes. KinectedCare has no ads and no trackers.

How it fits with KinectedCare

Get Stronger is the gentle, everyday side of KinectedCare, alongside the HELP button and the CareTeam. They are separate features. Get Stronger is not a safety alert, and it does not detect anything.
